The Process

If you have a web development project to be done, and you would like us to take it on, you should know about the GoldNET project process. This is how it goes:

• Feel free to browse our Portfolio. Maybe you will find a project similar to what would meet your needs. You can tell us about that when you contact us for quotation.
• We suggest that you do some research on the Internet, and make a note of any websites that you really like or dislike. Try to define the reasons for both, and which particular elements are causing your opinions (layout, colors, design, elements of functionality). The websites you choose do not have to be in the same area of business, but the easiest starting point for the research could be your direct competition. This should make it easier for you to decide what you want or need for your project.
• Fill in our Web Development Questionnaire (PDF file). If for any reason you think the form does not fit your request, you can contact us by filling in our contact form, or by giving us a call.
• When we receive the filled-in form, we will carefully review your needs. You can expect our response in one to three business days, depending on the complexity of the project.
• You will receive a detailed quotation with the breakdown of costs related to the project. We will include the explanation of each item. If there is more then one solution for a particular element, we will list them all and assign a cost to each. If your company or organization requires a specific format of the quotation, let us know and we will put it together accordingly. The qoutation will include the project timeline.
• If after you receive the quotation you still have some questions or concerns, we will discuss them with you. If there is a need we can modify the quotation until we reach a solution acceptable to you and GoldNET.
• If you would like to contact our references, we will provide you with contact information.
• If you decide that GoldNET is the right company to work on your project, we will expect a written confirmation of the fact in an e-mail message or a printed letter. This confirmation will have the significance of a signature on a contract.
• Before we start working on the project, a down-payment will be required from you. Usually it is 50% of the total amount, but it can vary for larger projects. This will be specified in the quotation.
• You will need to gather and provide all the material needed for the project: texts, pictures, company colours specifications, any special requests in regards to the design and functionality, etc.
• The moment we receive the down-payment and all necessary material, the project timeline begins. We will set up a staging URL, and you will be provided with the link. There you will be able to monitor the progress of the work at all times. At project milestones you will be asked for input or confirmation. We will accept and review any suggestions or concerns you might have at all times.
• If there are any major changes in the project compared to the original quotation, the final amount will be adjusted accordingly.
• When the project is finished, it will be tested in several most common browsers and operating systems. Any bugs will be fixed. We will provide you with all the information you need to use the finished product, and the final invoice will be sent to you. When the final payment is received, the project will be installed on your domain.
• GoldNET stands fully behind its products. If any errors are noticed after the project is finished, or if any of the elements do not function as they should according to the project plan, we will review and fix the problems at no additional charge for three months upon project completion.
